GivingTuesdayNow is mobilizing the world through a new global day of giving and unity
Join the effort by supporting The Pennywise Urgent Response Fund which is providing critical resources to front line Covid-19 response service providers and advocates.
Some of the organizations our emergency grants are supporting include:
ShiftMeals- providing free, nourishing meals in Vermont for anyone and everyone who needs them in the midst of the coronavirus crisis.
Steps to End Domestic Violence - helping survivors from having to remain in or return to an abusive relationship due to the financial strains they are facing.
Vermonters for Criminal Justice Reform - advocating for fair and safe conditions for prisoners in Vermont and the compassionate release of nonviolent offenders, especially those most vulnerable to the coronavirus.
SOIL - ensuring hygienic sanitation services will continue to be available as Haiti’s broken public health system confronts a growing number of Covid-19 cases.
Amazon Hope Collective - Pennywise is serving as the backbone organization of a multi-cultural, indigenous led, collaborative response that is mobilizing to protect villages in the southern Amazon that are at risk of being decimated by the virus.
We are working every day to learn more about how our resources could be leveraged to help respond to urgent needs. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you know of additional ways we can help. And, please, give now and join us in this global movement of generosity.
